Prior to joining Witschey Witschey & Firestine, Eric worked in the fire services industry for over a decade. In this field, Eric provided vital life safety and fire services inspections for his customers throughout Northeast Ohio in a variety of roles, including as a licensed service technician, supervisor, and safety committee chairman, among others.
In 2018, Eric began attending the University of Akron, School of Law on a part-time basis while continuing to serve in his fire protection role. Eric’s legal education focused primarily on legal writing/research, business, and intellectual property. Over the course of his studies, Eric was invited to join the Honors Scholars Program and the Akron Law Review as an editor. In 2023, Eric’s law review article was published in the Akron Law Review: Vol. 56.
As an associate at Witschey Witschey & Firestine, Eric’s practice focuses primarily on business and civil litigation, business planning and formation, and estate planning.
In his free time, Eric enjoys hiking in Ohio’s scenic parks with his wife and son.
